MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, I know that we have had a WONDERFUL Christmas this year.. We went to Mary's house for our Christmas Eve Dinner it was REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD food that we had and it's really too much to even list but believe me it was great!!!

The kids were kinda sorta good on not asking about opening gifts but Bucky and I were thinking the same thing when he said we oughta open gifts first then eat dessert cause we were all just STUFFED with all that food.. I told him that's what I was JUST thinking hehe.. so I told mary she said yeah good idea so when everyone was ready we all sat around the room where we could see the kids opening gifts.. of course me being the little kid that I am.. I sat close to the tree :)

We decided to do something different this year was that instead of just handing out gifts we'd give 1 gift to 1 person at a time so we could see what everyone got.. This idea worked out GREAT but with all the gifts that was there.. it took us a pretty good while to get done but we had fun hehe... I thought that one of the kids were gonna be the 1st one to open a gift but Tori told Mary that she wanted me to be the 1st one to open.. in my mind I was really surprised but at the same time embarrassed that everyone was gonna be looking at me FIRST but she gave me the gift and I opened it up.. and I just absolutely loved it.. Tori made me something at school that I could put on my desk at work.. it's a "name plaque" with my name Sandy on it and I just LOVED it.. I like it when I get something that was handmade by one of the kids..

Ryan just didn't care about all the other gifts once opened a Yugi-Oh item that was it he really just lost intrest in everything else LOL we had to keep telling him open this gift or take that "Dual Disk" off so he could open other gifts he was really cute about it.. He also got some Yugi-Oh Cards too from me.. so his collection is getting bigger and bigger :)

Tori I think really enjoyed everything she got... I got her a pair of hoop earrings that I really wish that I had bought another pair for myself but didn't and I did go back to the same store where I got it and they didn't have anymore :( oh well.. Maybe Tori will be a sweet niece and let me borrow it sometimes LOL.. I also got Tori a couple of other things from me..

Justin seemed to like his gifts this year too.. I got him a "CD walkman" that can play burned CD's that he has done on computers so it should be really good for him.. but I got him a couple of other things too So he has done good on gifts this year... his main thing that he loved I think was the Magic Cards that he has a collection of..

The adults got a lot of great things this year.. I got a lot that is too much to mention here but i'll mention a few that I got... the "Sandy plaque", Earrings, Ring, Shoes, Toaster, Sewing machine, Several Precious Moments items, Candy, Cookies and alot of other stuff..

Robert got a few good things this year also.. He has gotten a new hard drive for his computer, a Dual Layer DVD Burner, Remote Control (this is a whole other post to explain why a remote control), Shirts, Card Game, House shoes, among other things.. He really loved all the gifts he got from everyone and I don't think that he will ever have a big christmas like this again LOL so enjoy it honey :)

Of course I can't even begin to list the other things the family members got because there's TOOO MUCH LOL.. But this can pretty much tell you that we had a huge christmas and at this time of day I'm really happy and excited and soon will go begin to put things away where they belong.. Thankfully I'm off tomorrow so I can do some things that I normally do on a Sunday because today I'm going to celebrate the birth of jesus and be with my husband and our families..

But the bad part of yesterday.. :( was that I FORGOT THE CAMERA!!!! and so I'm waiting for Mary and Dad to send me pictures of our day there then I can post some pictures.. I just can't believe that we forgot!!!! dang it!!

Oh well, I guess now I'll close for now since I've typed up a very very long post this time.. I'll talk to ya on the next post :)

IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!

OH BOY!!!! I am sooooooooo excited that today has finally arrived hehe...

at around 11 to 11 30 Robert and I are gonna go pick up my grandparents and we're going to Mary's House to have our Christmas Eve Dinner then after we get done eating and enjoying all the wonderful conversations that we usually have around christmas time .. Then after getting the kitchen straightened up etc. we will then all sit around the tree and open up gifts!!!

This year will be a very big christmas for the adults since we have been very very good hehe.. The kids will have plenty of gifts to open up too.. I just can't wait to see what everyone has gotten and hearing the excitement in Ryan's voice when it's time to open the gifts.. He has been such a good boy waiting till it's time to open gifts... he's been a sweetheart about the whole thing.. and I gotta admit Tori has been very good about her gifts too.. She hasn't bothered it once this year..

Of Course we're gonna get pictures of everything and we will probably take the camcorder too so that way we can catch everyone's expression and excitement when opening their gifts.. So when we get home and I've gotten the pictures into my computer I'll post some pictures of everyone!!!

Well.. I wanted to sleep in a lil' bit this morning so I'm gonna go back to bed! talk to ya later!!!

Robert's Gift To Me

Last Night Robert and I needed to go to my 2nd home (hehehe) to get a few things that we needed.. and I was walking towards the crafts dept. and I told robert you know what would just make my christmas he said what?? I said this.. a new sewing machine.. he looked at me and said but the $$.. I just looked at him and I guess my eyes showed him I really really really really wanted it.. he looked at me and he said ok.. I'll get it for you.. YIPPPPEEEEEEEE so I got the sewing machine I wanted and I was just all so happy.. I went over to the food center to get some stuff we needed and we ran into Mary.. well actually she ran into me...

I couldn't contain my excitement I told her look what robert's gotten me for christmas!! she said NO NO NO not suppose to see it till christmas!! I laughed but she really liked it and I just had a smile from ear to ear :-D we went around the store getting stuff we need and then Mary and I went back to the craft dept. looked around and got 1 more thing for our quilting stuff then we went over to the christmas dept.. I needed to look around to get 2 ornaments to take to my christmas party that my employer is having for us on Thursday night.. But I didn't see anything that I'd like to give .. but I did find the ornament that I wanted to get for mom.. it's a "Red Hat" ornament and then by this time it was getting around 10 pm and we really needed to get out of there!!!

I couldn't wait to get home I really wanted to show Mom what I got from robert.. so FINALLY we got home around 11 and I told robert I wanted to go show the sewing machine to mom!! he laughed and said ok.. I got the ornament and the sewing machine and practically ran to mom's!! hehe i'm like a little kid when I finally get something I wanted.. and when Mom saw it she was going :-O WOW!!!! she said that I got a good one and she really liked it.. LOL Daddy said I was to give him that one I said NO WAY!! :)

So now after christmas I'm gonna go in the extra bedroom and clear out that room and set up my sewing room up in there.. so that way I won't have to wait for our monthly saturdays getting together to sew now I can just sew whenever I need or want to :-D and it's right in my own home hehe..

I told Robert he's now got a wife who went Low Maintence who really didn't ask for a lot just always waited to get what I wanted to getting a wife who's gonna be high maintence LOL.. he laughed and said well I knew u really wanted it last weekend when we got the $$$ but I didn't get I got what he wanted instead so he wanted to get this for me now.. I have the most sweetest and thoughtful and caring man in the world who really indeed does spoil me.. Even mary told me last night that Robert spoils me hehe.. but ya know.. I spoil him and he spoils me.. So now all I want to get is the sewing table/desk that I saw at Wal Mart... Oh Honey!!! hehehe...

Our Day Out

Yesterday Mom, Mary,Tori and I made it almost a full day of spending money and time together.. Jo Ann's Craft and Fabric store was going out of business in a Maryville Mall and we wanted to go see what we could get since they were up 40 to 70% off of their stuff...

Mom and I got to Mary's somewhere between 8 30 and 9 AM and after some discussions on what we would do and what the kids would be doing etc. we were on our way to Maryville.. OR so I THOUGHT!! hehe.. Mary had gotten the directions how to get to the mall since it's one that is almost 45 mins away from our house and it's at a location that we really didn't know the area that well... so I printed the directions and we were driving down there.. and everything seemed to go ok until I started thinking.. we're going to far even though the directions said we should've already been there... Mom told me I should pull over at the BP station and ask how to get there..

So here I am pulled over at the store and I asked the clerk and she said I had to GO BACK 3 lights ARGHHHHHHH so I went back and followed the directions that lady gave me and we were at the MALL!!!! (we need to have a talk with mapquest!!!!) after driving around to see where Jo Ann's is we finally found it and went in... Tori at first didnt' want to be there but she quickly started having fun looking around and I got her a few little stuff while I bought some other stuff.. I think we were there for about oh an hour maybe?? but anyway Mary, Mom and I went and got some of the stuff we wanted to get BUT they didn't have the other good stuff we wanted that was related to quilting.. well at least not all of it.. but we got small items and then we paid and left... Getting through JC Penney was a NIGHTMARE!!! since they had that doorbuster sale that morning it was hard to get through the people to get out of the mall but we managed :)

Since we had gotten turned around GETTING to the mall.. I was not really sure HOW to get back to knoxville so MOM told me to find Lamar Alexander Parkway and it was just 1 street up so I got to the lights and MOM told me to turn left... BIG MISTAKE LOL!!!! BUT I saw the sign said I-75 was 21 miles.. so I thought ok well i didn't come by the interstate going to the mall but it'd be quicker to go back to knoxville on the interstate since we were now going to my grandparent's apt. well about maybe 10 miles down the road Mom and Mary started to think we're going the wrong way.. I said but that sign said I-75 is 21 miles!!! so I told mary even if I am going the wrong way just sit back and enjoy the ride.. we all had fun talking and laughing but where I took us we were going OH MY GOSH!!!! I had gone down that road that took us from Maryville to Lenior City..which is about 30 mins from Knoxville.. So here I go again.. so I drive from Lenior City all the way to knoxville and got to my grandparents house now it was about 1 pm and we had lost about 1 hour of time just driving but it was a good drive and I had enjoyed it.

Tori and I took our gramps to get some groceries and to CVS to get their medicines then we brought him home and it was about 10 mins later we all left again.. by now it was now about 3 pm we then were going to another craft place that is on Clinton Highway that is also going out of business but they really didn't have a lot of stuff that was a good deal at least for now.. but I did get some stuff there.. I was going to go to Hobby Lobby so I could buy something there for someone for christmas 1 of my last items to get but I was toooooooo TIRED to stop by there and it was getting kinda late in the afternoon so I decided to go home..

So now in total.. there were 4 times with my driving the whole day that I had screwed up on driving geez!!! I told mary that next time they are driving!!! LOL.. i got lost GOING and COMING back from Maryville... going to my grandparents I passed the exit going to their apt. which was my fault cause I was talking to mary... THEN I turned Right instead of Left going to that last craft place so I had to turn around and go back... I have NO idea what was wrong with me!!! But all in all I had a lot of fun spending time with my mom, sister and niece.. I'm HOPING we can do this again soon.. of course when we have more money to spend hehe but it was soooo much fun all the chatting catching up on little news and spending time with Tori chatting about school her friends etc.

That was about the most part of our day.. and thought I'd share it with you guys... It was 1 of the 2 best things that I got to do this weekend.. Next post coming up on the 2nd best thing hehe...
