Precious Moments

Some people ask me why I collect Precious moments.. and I'll tell ya why right here!!!

When I found out that I was Pregnant in May of 2000.. I had went baby shopping with (ex) mother in law and I had picked out precious moment stuff to decorate the baby's bed with etc. and when I had the miscarriage.. I had decided that's what I wanted to collect.. not only are they cute.. but they represent the bible.. their innocence and it's just so hard to explain about them but I love them sooooooo much.. so I collect them..

When Robert and I got married.. that's how I had the theme of the wedding Precious Moments!! and still now I look at precious moments stuff although I know I can't afford it .. I just love it!!!!!

IF and when we ever have a baby.. that's what I want to decorate the baby's room in.. precious moments...

Birthdays

Today is not only halloween.. it's my granny's birthday!! She is now 82 years old.. and we are going to get together for a family birthday dinner today..

Soon I will be going to go pick up my grandparents then go pick up the birthday cake.. Granny doesn't know that I have ordered a cake.. but she will once we stop by there hehe.. I ordered a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake.. Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream hehe.. I sure can't wait for that!!!

But that's not all the birthday's we will have soon.. in 2 weeks it will be Mary's and My Birthday.. Mary's is on the 13th and Mine is on the 14th.. Mary will be 32 and I'll be 29 ... hard to believe that we have actually gotten so much older.. I always say.. I miss being a young carefree teenager who didn't have to worry like the adults do.. in the words of Ryan Carver... "TURN ME BACK.. TURN ME BACK!!!" hehe..

I really really can't wait cause Robert and I are gonna go to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg that day.. they will have the Winterfest kicked off on Nov. 4th so I get to have the christmas lights on my birthday!! I love it there.. it's sooo romantic.. I'm hoping we can stay the night there then come back on sunday the 14th because we are gonna have another birthday dinner for both mary and me...

hehe.. I'll have to update after that weekend and i can tell ya what we ended up doing that weekend!!

Anniversary

the last post that I had done... I should've added something and so I'm gonna do that right now!!

Last Tuesday my sister and my brother in law celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary.. and it's hard to believe that it's already that long since they been married.. they have gone through a lot of things in their 13 years of marriage..and I hope that my marriage to Robert can be as strong as theirs that can get through anything that is thrown in their path..

After having 3 wonderful kids and a marriage that they have.. they are very lucky in what they have.. and I hope they continue to be happy and to enjoy what they have now and what is to come in the future.. soon it won't be long before they will be 2 again when their kids grow up and have their own lives!!

New Haircut...

I'm back!!!!

Well.. I've got a few things to update but I really don't feel like sitting up for a while tonight to type.. but I'll type about my new look!!

Yesterday while I was at work I E mailed mary on her SK and asked her if she could cut my hair after I got off work .. we went back and forth being a pain in the butt.. aggravating each other when I realized after she said Yes that I really shouldn't bother them because it was Mary and Bucky's 13th wedding anniversary but she said to go ahead and come on over there..

So at about 5 pm.. I showed up after leaving work 10 mins. earlier than my scheduled time off.. and about 30 mins later.. Mary finally went outside where she could cut my hair.. it took her about 5 mins to cut my hair which I'm not wanting anything fancy.. just a plain ol' cut.. so here's what I looked like before and after... although someone said that it didn't look like it was that much shorter but believe me.. IT'S SHORTER!!!

This picture is about 2 weeks ago when Robert and I were in downtown knoxville.. my hair when it's wet is down to the middle of my back but can't tell when it's dry cause i'm naturally curly when I got long hair

Update...

Well.. let's see it's finally ALMOST the weekend.. thankfully.. Robert and I have had some pretty rough days with work this week..
Robert did his interview on Tuesday.. only 1 little difference.. he didn't have just 2 interviews... he had 3!!! all in one day.. and he did pretty well I guess... he is really hoping to get the job that is about 14 miles from us.. it's the "dream" job that he's been wanting.. it's got the hours, days and pretty much the pay he wants.. the earliest he'll know is tomorrow if he got the job if not then it'll be next week.. I'm praying he gets the job he wants.. I'm afraid one day he's gonna really lose his mind with the job he has right now..
As for me, I've just had a rough few days at work.. I don't "hate" anyone at work just some I have some pretty strong feeling towards them.. The way I always look at things is.. "Treat those the way you wanna be treated" and right now.. I am getting pretty treated badly by 1 woman in general.. she has been this way since I started there and it's been almost a year ago!! she is just a COLD person.. sigh.. just hope that one day she'll actually have a heart towards people geesh.. But in the mean time.. I just grin and bear it.. all I can do .. I gotta have my job!!

As far as the cats, They're doing great!! they are running, jumping, and driving me nuts which is great!! shows me that they are doing much better!! But of course soon they're gonna hate it that I'm gonna have the Vet back here again to give them their vaccines.. Hate doing it but they gotta have it..

and the cold.. OH BOY I AM SOOOO GLAD it's gotten cold here.. not that cold but it's a lot cooler.. and I LOVE COLD weather.. LET IT SNOW!!! hehehe..

well.. there's not much to say so this is it... Nitey Nite...

About this week..

Well.. let's see there's been a few things this week that we had to do.. well one is work of course..

Robert is hating his job right now and actually over the last few days had put in applications in for other jobs.. he works in a call center and the other jobs he's put in is for also call centers.. He's got 2 job interviews set up.. one is for today!! it's a phone interview so it's set up for 1 pm today.. it's with US CELLULAR.. Robert isn't too thrilled with it after getting the 2nd interview set up.. he rather have the 2nd one as a job.. But I love the benefits that US CELLULAR has.. but of course it all depends on which one pays the most.. Right now he's only making $8.50 an hour so he needs something at that pay or more.. which i'm hoping MORE..

The job he has is the one he's had for 2 1/2 years and it was working for BellSouth.. but now that they have pulled their contracts.. he's now working for Chrysler and that is really what he hates.. he doesn't like saying NO to the people that ask for Chrysler to repair cars that Chrylser SHOULD be paying for.. Ya see.. Robert is the type of person who has a soft heart and can't say NO.. I guess that's why I am spoiled LOL.. He can't say NO to me why could he say NO to others?? :-) but anyway.. he's not left his job yet but he's put in applications.. I'm hoping and praying he finds something he'll like..

As far as me.. I love my job but the pay sucks.. so I'm not really LOOKING for another job but just putting in application with some places to see what happens.. I've put one in online with the First Tennessee Bank.. so I'm KINDA hoping that does come through.. their pay is 2 dollars MORE than what i'm making right now.. and the benefits are GREAT!! but just gotta wait and see.. I pray God is gonna help me..

My job isn't that hard. it's just gotten a lot easier and so there's MORE time on my hands to do nothing and I hate that.. so I wanna find a job that actually keeps me busy and occupied.. and of course.. I could do without a few people there.. I wish they'd hurry up and retire.. Can't stand having people be so hateful towards other people.. it's like walking on egg shells geesh..

Mary on the other hand is one of my worries as usual.. She's been sick and as stubborn as she is. .she had refused to go to the dr.. but finally she went after her husband Bucky forced her to go.. she once again has Cellulitis infection.. So yesterday Bucky had to go to a funeral home.. his great aunt passed away and he had taken Justin and Tori with him.. so I took off work an hour early and went to pick Ryan up.. I was worried that Ryan wouldn't be too happy without his brother or sister with him and going to my house alone.. but I was soo glad that Ryan actually was soo good.. he was hyped up of course but he was great.. Next weekend I get to babysit ALL 3 kids all day!!! YAY!!! I actually do love having the kids with me .. that is when they are BEHAVING!! they're my babies!! doesn't matter that they're 13, 11 and 5.. they're all my babies.. ;)

Well.. I better get done with this Blog.. I got some stuff gotta do before we go out this afternoon after Robert's phone interview.. we're gonna go to downtown Clinton to see the antiques.. there's a "Festival" going on down there this week..

Cats Are BETTER!!!!

In case some of you guys are wondering.. the cats are better YAY!!! the medicine really helped alot and no longer do they have a dry and hot noses.. it's all cold and wet hehe.. they are a lot more playful now and actually gone back to bugging us to wake up in the morning..

The other night I knew they had started feeling better when Monkey and Squeekers was chasing each other so that put a BIG smile on my face and a lot less worry about it.. I am just soo glad that they are getting back to normal..

This morning Robert has taken a small video footage of the cats and so he'll be making a small movie out of it.. Robert loves making movie clips out of the tapes he does.. he's done alCATtraz where the cats were in a cage that makes them look like they're in prison.. at this time they were a lot smaller where all 3 could actually fit into the cage.. right now they're so grown that it's pretty crowded for 3 cats.. 1 or 2 maybe but NOT 3 hehe..

Cats..

Yesterday, we had a vet doctor come out and look at the cats.. I had become very worried about our cats since about 2 weeks ago..

Squeekers had started sneezing like she did when we first got her almost 2 years ago but we thought well she might be ok.. but then Monkey started sneezing and getting "watery" eyes, but that wasn't the least of it all.. next it was Carmel.. and I think she had it worse than any of them.. Carmel eyes were draining some like yellowish color "tears" and then it started turning what looked like blood. but luckily by this time we had already called the vet.. the one that my sister in law sees for her animals..

Doc. came out to our house.. now he's really a very good doctor.. and I don't think our cats like him too much though rofl... he said that they all had upper resp. infection.. ugh.. that's what Squeekers had that last time.. so he had me put a towel on the table and he got the shots all ready for the cats.. I was thinking OKKKK.... these cats are NOT gonna like this!!

First cat was Carmel.. she is the one that is pretty quiet and shy.. I turned her away from the doc. and was trying to relax her.. but when he poked her the 1st time she really MEOWED loudly.. then the doc warned me the 2nd shot would be burning her so when he's done let her go.. and sure enough Carmel was pratically screaming and she scratched me trying to get off the table right after he put the meds in for the 2nd shot in her.. we let her go and she went and hid.. Didnt' see her for about 3 hours after that.. poor baby...

Second up is Squeekers.. now she's a fighter!! she didn't like it at all.. by the 2nd shot.. squeekers had tried to get off the table.. and dummy me tried to hold her.. and the vet said let her go .. i had blood on my arm from where the scratches were.. they really need their claws clipped!! hmm might need to do that tonight..

Last but not least.. Monkey.. now this is my baby.. he was soo good.. even the dr showed us how to put meds in the cats eyes.. and Monkey didn't even flinch.. which I was really surprised.. and then the doc put the shots in monkey and he didn't even try to run away.. when we got done he just looked up at the doc and then went and jumped down from the table.. now that's a brave cat!!!

Then we got to talking to the vet about the cats.. how to treat them with the meds. etc... sigh... the babies have the upper resp. infection, ear mites (which we were shocked cause they are strictly indoor cats!!) and also about what to do with them trying to scratch on the new furniture blah blah..

But in the end.. the doc is really a great one and I liked the conveience of having the doctor coming out here.. than me ttrying to take all 3 to the vet at the same time!!

Last night.. I had a time trying to get the cats to sit still long enough to put the meds in their eyes.. which THEY HATE!! but i had no choice.. but it does look so much better.. and Carmel is not trying ot keep one eye closed from the discomfort.. so she is doing so much better and I'm so happy they are acting a bit better.. although this morning was their 1st dose of the antibotics from the pills.. I had to open up the capsule and divide it up into 3 parts and put it in their food and they gobbled it up which I'm glad..

well enough about my cats.. but those who knows me and how i feel about these babies of mine can understand how i am.. they are my babies.. since Robert and I can't have kids.. they are my babies!! and will always treat them as my babies.. nothing is too silly for me to feel this way towards them...
